As Head of Marketing & E-commerce, it’s your mission to build the brand and grow (e-commerce) sales. You are responsible for our marketing and e-commerce, and you will lead the team. Our products are the market leaders in Europe in Money Handling solutions.

Based on a thorough understanding of the SME and B2B consumer, the brand, its market, and competition, you lead the marketing strategy and commercial planning.

You create the product roadmap and the introduction of the new product launches. We are highly innovative with our product development, and you will market this in different countries.  You will be building the Safescan brand, including all product and content. At Safescan, e-commerce is one of the most important sales channels, and it’s your job to manage this: from development of the platform to all digital advertising and marketing automation.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing Planning
  • Building the brand and visibility of the brand through the CDJ
  • Product and brand content (e.g., including a new video strategy)
  • Defining and leading the Product road map (incl new products and categories) and product introductions
  • Benchmark communication and portfolio of competitors
  • Research, insights, and customer journeys
  • Support the Online performance marketer with the Development of the e-commerce platform
  • Manage and drive e-commerce sales
  • Leading all (digital) marketing activities (advertising, crm, marketing automation, content assets for all sales channels)
  • Support the online marketer to plan, budget, track, and optimise all media activities
  • Lead and grow the team (3fte) as well as external agencies
  • Plan, manage, and evaluate the marketing budget
  • Lead the development and optimisation of the new safescan.com

Qualifications:

  • A relevant higher education degree in a related field (e.g., Marketing Management, Economics, Business Management)
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, e-commerce type of roles within a commercial b2b sales environment
  • Good knowledge of English and Dutch (Dutch not essential).
