digital designer

The Visual designer is the creative beating heart of the CX studio. In this role, you will work in a highly collaborative environment where you will be looked upon to be highly creative and have the ability to take user stories to create design interfaces, which meet the business requirements across multiple touch points. In particular web, mobile, and tablet.

We are looking for creative experience solutions – individuals with passion and desire to build really cool digital services that express our client’s goals to sell and build brands across growing digital touch points.

tasks and responsibilities
  • Create interface and visual design for scrum team based on Client Organization user experience principles
  • Support concepting phase for future backlog creation regarding creation of product/user stories, epics, customer journeys, persona’s, and other UX artifacts
  • Support the pre-scrum phase for creating a backlog and, when needed, the scrum phase for project delivery
  • Support ideation and concepting teams
  • Support on an ad hoc base internal activities within the Client Organization
  • Support UX testing in the development phase
  • Support Client Organization research lab to run research
  • Monitor and alert regarding consistent and uniform production of (digital) assets and visual content
  • Liaison and align with other visual designers within the Client Organization
  • Support ‘Best practice meetings’ within Client Organization
skills and experience required
  • You have designed enticing websites previously and can demonstrate some of your work
  • Experience designing for mobile and responsive design
  • Illustrator and Photoshop experience and an understanding of HTML
  • Be happy to support the periodical review and refreshment of designs based on reports, analysis, and feedback provided by other members of the team and changing business requirements
  • Excited and engaged about the changing opportunities/technologies and developments in the digital arena
  • Can work well and communicate effectively with diverse teams of technical architects, interaction designers, product owners, and front-end developers
  • Strong experience in representing your ideas and creative concepts
  • Ability to think commercially and generate ideas that meet business needs
  • Experience of working in a challenging and fast-paced environment
  • Experience in working in an agile and scrum-based approach
  • Financial Services experience desired
technical skills
  • Extensive knowledge of responsive web design (RWD), adaptive design, and custom mobile app design concepts
  • Good knowledge of mobile usability principles, design concepts, and user expectations
  • Good knowledge of HTML 5, CSS3.0, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Good exposure to mobile UI frameworks such as Twitter Bootstrap, jQuery Mobile, 960 grid, etc.
  • Extensive experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and interface designs for web/Mobile applications
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery & Media queries
